ABOUT ME

I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) degree from Manchester University.  I worked for the NHS and Bupa hospitals in the UK for 5 years before moving to Dublin, Ireland in 2005.  I have worked in private practice in Dublin for the last 20 years specialising in musculoskeletal and women's health physiotherapy.

In December last year I was proud to open my own clinic and studio in Churchtown. I provide many physiotherapy services including Manual therapy, Dry Needling, Radial Shockwave therapy and exercise prescription.

In 2006 I gained my full matwork certification with the APPI in London and have taught classes for the last 19 years.   As a physiotherapist my primary goal is to provide Pilates in a safe and effective way, and my classes are suitable for those who have had or continue to have musculoskeletal or women’s health problems.

In 2024 I completed my APPI reformer training. I provide 1:1 reformer sessions deopending on the individual's goa of rehabilitation or general fitness/strength or rerturn to exercise.

With a background in gymnastics,  keeping fit and staying strong has always been important to me.  Discovering Pilates was a natural step for my own health and fitness, and as a physiotherapist the benefits of Pilates and rehabilitation are huge.  I have a passion for teaching Pilates correctly and I gain great satisfaction from hearing how my classes provide a positive impact on my clients’ health and wellbeing.

My classes are suitable for all, taught in a safe and controlled way, even those with musculoskeletal or health issues.

Through my website you can book in person classes at my Churchtown studio or attend my online classes from the comfort of your own home, either live online with me, or via the on demand video library in your own time at your own convenience.
