(Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor)
Hana qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 with a BSc (Hons) degree from Manchester University. She initially worked for the NHS and Bupa hospitals in the UK for 5 years before moving to Dublin in 2005. Hana has worked in private practice in Dublin for the last 20 years specialising in musculoskeletal and women's health physiotherapy as well as Clinical Pilates.
Hana gained her full Pilates Matwork certification with the APPI in London in 2006 and has taught classes for the last 19 years. As a physiotherapist her primary goal is to provide Pilates in a safe and effective way. Classes are suitable for those who have had, or continue to have, musculoskeletal or women’s health problems.
In December last year Hana was proud to open her own clinic and studio in Churchtown, providing Physiotherapy and Pilates services including Manual therapy, Dry Needling, Radial Shockwave Therapy and Exercise Prescription.
In 2024 Hana completed her APPI Pilates Reformer training. She provides 1:1 reformer sessions depending on the individual's goal of rehabilitation or general fitness/strength or return to exercise.
Keeping fit and staying strong has always been important to Hana. With a background in gymnastics, discovering Pilates was a natural step for her own health and fitness, and as a physiotherapist the benefits of Pilates in rehabilitation are huge. She has a passion for teaching Pilates correctly and gains great satisfaction from hearing how her classes provide a positive impact on clients’ health and wellbeing.
(Pilates Instructor)
Kate’s love of movement started with dance. Always dancing around the house as a small child she began Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop lessons, which eventually lead her to the U.K. where she completed a 3 year Professional Dance Diploma at Performers College, Essex.
It was here that Kate discovered Pilates, but it wasn’t until an injury that she really understood its benefits. Gaining an internationally recognised qualification through STOTT Pilates in London, Kate went on to teach at a variety of renowned studios across the city, becoming Head Trainer of one of the leading London studios, Tempo Pilates.
Having moved back to Dublin in 2016 Kate continued to teach group Reformer, Tower Pilates and Barre fitness classes alongside her private training clients. Kate spent over 8 years teaching in Dublin's Platinum Pilates.
With over 12 years of experience and qualifications in Mat and Reformer Pilates, TRX, Barre fitness and more, alongside a special interest in women’s health, with qualifications in Pre and Post Natal training and Pink Ribbon cancer rehabilitation, Kate shares her love of movement in every session with an attention to detail and passion that she hopes will leave you feeling grounded, stronger, revitalised and ready to take on the day.
